Hello Neighbor is a horror game that was released on December 8, 2017. It is the second game by Tyler Glaiel, known for his work on Terry Cavanagh's Super Hexagon. In the game, you must explore your neighborhood and find out what happened to your character's neighbor. The game starts off with your character waking up to find a strange person outside their house. You are unable to leave your house, as the door and the windows are locked. The next day, the person is still outside in the same spot. You finally decide to go out and talk to them, but you find that they are now gone. You then see a mysterious figure in your house, and your character has to sneak through their house in order to find out more. There are two different endings, depending on the player's actions.
Hello Neighbor is a game for PC. In the game, you must explore your neighborhood and find out what happened to your character's neighbor. The gameplay is largely puzzle-based, and consists of sneaking into your neighbor's house, searching in their various rooms, and trying to avoid detection. There are over 100 levels in the game, with the difficulty gradually increasing the more you play.
Hello Neighbor has a simple design aesthetic, with very few animation quality. The game is in a 3D environment, but the only time the player can see the player's character is when the player is looking over their shoulder. The graphics in the game are not realistic, as they are designed to be more of a cartoon.
Hello Neighbor mostly consists of exploration, and the game does not provide much in the way of replayability.
Overall, I would give Hello Neighbor a 9/10. I would highly recommend it for fans of puzzle or horror games.
